The Christchurch Boys’ Choir is one of New Zealand's leading children's choral groups consisting of some of Christchurch's best young voices. Over the last 25 years, hundreds of boys from a range of backgrounds have rehearsed, performed and created memorable experiences with the Christchurch Boys’ Choir.

Under the baton of Musical Director William Frost and Accompanist Matthew Everingham, the choir is releasing its album 'Voices of Tomorrow' in 2014 featuring works reflecting the past, present and future. From classical works (Faure, Britten, Franck) to jazz, musical theatre (Stephen Schwartz's 'Wicked'), New Zealand works (Richard Oswin) and exciting cultural works in Hebrew and Swahili, the album reflects a diverse world of music from the eyes of young choristers. This album, and concert, is not to be missed.

'Voices of Tomorrow' will also feature a premiere performance and recording of a new composition by Matthew Everingham entitled 'Tribute', a World War One memorial song cycle based on texts by Wilfred Owen and sung by William Frost. Being released in the year of the Great War's centenary, this work in memory of the past makes a special addition to the choir's pieces that inspire hope in the future.

The choir will be joined by experienced special guest musicians Georgina Rees-Stevenson (Clarinet) and Angus Simmons (Baritone) who will add extra flavour to the programme, performing alongside director William Frost and pianist Matthew Everingham.

Join the Christchurch Boys' Choir on September 19th as the choir releases its latest exciting new album 'voices of Tomorrow', available for purchase at the concert or by emailing:
