Join our knowledgeable guides on a commemorative walk of significant events relevant to Wellington’s war history.

From the steps of Parliament, to the Cenotaph, over to the waterfront and relevant commemorative plaques, to the Town Hall, St James Theatre, Cuba Street and finishing at the Carillon, the walk is designed to cover all relevant war history with a specific emphasis on Wellington’s World War One participation.

It will also take in Wellington, Lest We Forget, visual display especially created for commemorating WW1, on Shed 1 Wellington Waterfront, St James Theatre and 147 Cuba Street.
