The ANZAC bond had its foundation in the conflict at Gallipoli 100 years ago. Marking this anniversary and celebrating the enduring spirit of ANZAC, the Royal New Zealand Navy Band presents a heart-warming, entertaining, reflective and joyful concert of tribute and friendship.

Featuring New Zealand's well known entertainers Jackie Clarke and Shane Cortese, you will hear music that spans the eras and generations since the ANZAC bond began. During the concert we will be paying special tribute to those who served and died for the country a century ago.

Guest performers include Grace Brebner, a finalist in the high school Gallipoli song writing competition The Calling, performing her evocative song with the Band. Lieutenant Nathan Vink, RNZN, normally second in command of HMNZS Otago, playing a significant adaption of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue which was written between the World Wars, in 1924. The Band's own Rebecca Nelson, a well known NZ singer, will also be featured in the concert.
