Australian Football League (AFL) action is set return to Wellington, when the St Kilda Saints take on the Carlton Blues in an historic Anzac Day clash. Kids go free* so bring the family along for the sports spectacular that is AFL!

The game kicks off at the family-friendly time of 1.10pm, and with face-painting, activities and the chance to meet the mascot, it promises to be fun for the whole family.

On April 25th, 2013 St Kilda hosted the Sydney Swans in Wellington in the first regular season game of AFL that was played outside Australia. Anzac Day 2014 saw the Saints once again return to Wellington to challenge the Brisbane Lions in another exciting mix of culture, sport and entertainment.

Wellington's match will be the first of five AFL games held in Wellington and across Australia this Anzac Day.

Gates open at 12pm, and commemorations to mark the centenary of the Gallipoli landings in WWI will be held at 12.45pm.

*Children must be 15 years or under at the time of the event, and must be accompanied by a paying adult. Adult tickets must be purchased through Ticketek.co.nz/AFLnz and there is a limit of five free children per adult ticket purchased. Kids Go Free offer cannot be purchased at the gate.
