Rotorua's Anzac Day Civic Memorial Service on Saturday 25th April 2015, will be held at 9.30am at the Energy Events Centre. This year's service will commemorate WW1 - 100 years on.

Anzac Day was first observed in New Zealand on 25 April, 1916 and now represents the 30,000+ New Zealanders who have died at war in this country's service since 1899.

A parade of service personnel, school parties, cadet corps and local community groups will leave the Lakefront intersection of Whakaue and Fenton Streets at 9.00am marching via Government Gardens to the Energy Events Centre and arriving at 9.20am.
