For more than three decades, Laurence Aberhart has been photographing World War I memorials in New Zealand and Australia. This exhibiton, focusing on single-figure cenotaphs, quietly evokes the local significance of the ANZAC forces and provides a space to meditate on the effects of war.

Exhibition developed and toured by Dunedin Public Art Gallery with support from Creative New Zealand and WWI Lotteries.
