Restrictions: All Ages

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula, a day that honours and remembers the New Zealand and Australian lives lost in World War One.

We invite all Sky Tower visitors to take part in our special commemoration by placing a small poppy on the glass of the Sky Tower’s Main Observation Level. Each group that visits the Sky Tower will be given a free poppy to place on the glass of the windows of Level 51. Together as we lay the poppies upon the glass from 20 – 27 April 2015 we will transform the Sky Tower windows into our own commemorative field of poppies.

There are also key World War One sites of interest in Auckland mapped out for visitors to view and children will receive an activity sheet.

From 25 – 27 April 2015, guests will also receive a complimentary Anzac biscuit - a traditionally baked biscuit designed to store well, keep the soldiers' strength up and remind them of home!

From 25 -27 April 2015 all current serving NZDF personnel and RSA veterans will also receive free Sky Tower entry when they show their identification card as well as a voucher for a free small coffee or tea in Sky Lounge on Level 50.

While you’re visiting, make sure you look at the Anzac products we will be stocking at the Sky Tower gift shop, including t-shirts and iPhone cases, with all items helping to raise funds for Auckland RSA.

Normal Sky Tower admission fees apply. Poppy stickers, Anzac biscuits, complimentary coffee or tea and Sky Tower gift shop Anzac merchandise are subject to availability. One complimentary tea or coffee offer per voucher per Veteran or Serviceman or woman upon presentation of a valid ID or uniform.
