April 25th 2015 marks 100 years since the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli during World War One. The Torpedo Bay Navy Museum would like to invite you to commemorate this important event with us these school holidays.

Join us to make a candle holder which will house a candle for you to light at home in remembrance on the morning of the 25th of April, Anzac Day. You are invited to paint a candle holder using special glass paint.

You can do your own design or use one of our templates. While at the Museum be sure to visit our new WW1 Commemorative Pavilion and A D Boyle Resource Room.

Dates: 7th-19th April 2015
Cost: $5 per participant
Duration: 45 minutes
Session Times: 10:30, 11:30, 1:30, 2:30
For bookings call 09 445 5186 or email education@navymuseum.co.nz

Groups over 15 people must be pre-booked. Children under 7 will require an accompanying adult.
Candles will be handed out at the end of the session to the accompanying adult and while safety information will be provided by the Museum, the use of this holder and candle is the sole responsibility of that adult. For full information please visit our website
