‘Visions and Voices’ will be the Estuary Arts Centre’s second exhibition dedicated to those Anzacs who lost their lives in World War One. This exhibition will include some original WW1 trench artefacts, a WW1 saddle and watercolours from official war artists on loan from Greg Moyle’s private art collection.
Ceramic, glass artists, sculptors, painters and textile artists were invited to submit work which will pay tribute to WW1. Artists include Angela Vryer, Darlene Te Young, David Poole, Inge Chappell, Jason Evans, Janet Williamson, Glennis Sibun, Jane Jensen, Julienne Francis, Val Cuthbert, Maureen van Dam, Michael Barker and Shirley Pygott. This moving tribute exhibition will be supported by an installation of printed crosses made by local young people. Be moved by the visions and voices from a past, lest we forget.
