Three exhibitions explore World War One and the wider idea of conflict. Using personal stories and items from the rich collections of the National Library and Archives New Zealand and other sources, the exhibitions present a personal picture of what it is like to be involved in conflict. The exhibitions have World War One as their initial focus but armed conflict continues today so contemporary stories are also present. These include refugees who have left conflict in their home countries to live in New Zealand.

These exhibitions run until October 3rd. They are open Monday till Saturday from 8.30am until 5.00pm. Entry is free.

The exhibitions are accompanied by a programme of public events which will be posted on
