Measuring the ANZACs is a collaboration of Archives New Zealand, Auckland Museum, an international team of researchers, and the citizen science organization Zooniverse to create a complete transcription of NZ’s World War I personnel files.

To achieve this goal we need to get thousands of New Zealanders involved, including you and your students. The primary source material on the website is ideal for classroom exploration and homework projects. In this free workshop, Evan Roberts from the research team, will give an overview of the project and provide an introduction to its use in teaching NZ history and social studies.

Some parking is available onsite. Bus routes 10, 11, 18, 21, and 47 serve Wellington High. Bringing a laptop (not a tablet) is suggested (but not required).
