Created by Sir Peter Jackson and supported by ANZ, The Great War Exhibition tells the story of La Grande Guerre (The Great War) in brilliant colour. It brings the ordeals of this pivotal time in history into the modern day, melting away 100 years, helping us to understand the hardships endured by those who served and those who stayed behind.
To mark the War in France Commemorations, we have an exclusive opportunity to tell the story of France in The Great War. Our knowledgeable guide will provide both an educational and emotional experience connecting our visitors with the battlefields of France.
Three specialty tours will be available in French, departing at 9:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. Jessica Ferreira (Masters in Curatorship at Ecole de Louvre and Masters in Modern History at Paris Patheron-Sorbonne University) will be conducting these tours offering a French perspective as you journey throughout the Western Front. Tours will last approximately 1 hour.
