The armistice, which marked the end of World War One hostilities between the Allied Nations and Germany was signed on 11 November 1918.
A commemorative service for the anniversary of Armistice Day is being held on Saturday 11th November at the Cenotaph at 11am.
This will be followed by the Poppy Places streets of of significance as part of WW100 street-naming initiative at the Palmerston North Conference & Function Center.
Both of these events are open to the public.
