Professor Glyn Harper presents a talk on the rations eaten at Gallipoli during WWI.
Military rations provided to New Zealand soldiers in Gallipoli in 1915 were nutritionally deficient and probably contributed to cases of scurvy and higher rates of other illnesses.
Professor Harper discusses the food rations our soldiers were provided in these appalling conditions and the effects it had on their lives.
