Cambridge Patchwork and Craft Group presents the Quilt Exhibition featuring a Le Quesnoy Liberation Quilt.

Le Quesnoy (France), sister city to Cambridge (New Zealand), was liberated by New Zealand soldiers on the 4th November 1918, just one week before Armistice Day.

To honour the liberation of Le Quesnoy nearly 100 years ago and to mark the end of WW1, the Cambridge quilters have designed and made a memorial quilt, to be gifted to the people of Le Quesnoy. Each block of the quilt was designed and sewn by an individual member quilter.

The exhibition will be held in the St Andrew's Church Hall. Sales table with fabrics, books and raffles.
Entry fee at the door: $5.00. Proceeds to Parkinson's NZ - Cambridge Support Group.
