A special tree planting ceremony taking place at the World War One Memorial Tree Walk at Churchill Glade in Pollard Park.

The Marlborough RSA was gifted two seedlings sourced from the lone Turkish red pine that stood on a hill above Anzac Cove in Gallipoli, where soldiers from New Zealand and Australia landed.

Mayor John Leggett and Marlborough RSA President Chris Bamber will plant the trees on behalf of our community.

Everyone is welcome.
