Te Runaka o Awarua Charitable Trust in conjunction with the Bluff RSA will be commemorating Armistice Day on the 11th November 2018 with a powhiri and service at 7am in the grounds of Te Rau Aroha Marae, Bluff.

During the service the Marae's new flag pole will be blessed and the Memorial site for all servicemen and women will be unveiled and blessed. This service will be followed with a light breakfast.

All manuhiri (visitors) will be asked to join members of the Bluff RSA at their commemorative service at the War Memorial on Marine Parade, Bluff and afterwards adjourn to the Bluff RSA on Gore Street for refreshments and reflections.

An exhibition of photos and memorabilia will be on display in the old whare (Tarere ki Whenua-Uta) in the grounds of Te Rau Aroha Marae at 10 Bradshaw Street, Bluff between 1:30pm and 4pm.
