Join us on Saturday 13 October as we share stories of victory and loss through objects from our collections.

Members of the Air Force Museum's Collections team, along with representatives from the Nurses’ Memorial Chapel, will present a series of short talks at the Museum as part of this year’s Beca Heritage Week.

Learn about aspects of World War One and the impacts of the Armistice of 1918 on Canterbury’s airmen. We will also take a look at the varying roles in which women have served in the New Zealand Armed Forces.

This series of short talks will explore how New Zealanders have needed the courage to endure loss in wartime, but also affect positive change for our serving men and women. If you want to come along, please head to our website for more information.
